The VIII edition of IWIC held in Potes (Spain) and organized by PANGEA research group of Geography Dpt. of University of Valladolid has finished with excelent results. This has been a great opportunity to show our underground heritage and for sharing our scientific advances in the research of the ice caves and karstic geomorphology in Picos de Europa and Cantabrian Mountains in an excellent environment.

We must to acknowledge to whole participants for coming after very long travels around the world, for contributing to the scientific high level and for creating an excelent athmosphere.

Also we encourage them to submitting part of their research to the special issue in Ice Caves in English for the journal Geographical Research Letters.
